Dressage will be ridden on a surface you will have a short warm up before the test, Trec and control of paces will be held on grass. We advise for ridden trec members wear a body protector.

Phase 1 Obidence test to be performed in a 20 x 40 arena and is marked on accuracy and obidence.

Phase 2 Obstacles this will be between 10 and 12 obstacles with a maximum of 10 points per obstical.

Phase 3 Control of paces, Horse is required to maintain gait along a measured track. depending on class trot or canter as slow as possible, return in walk as fast as possible. Abreak of pace or stepping out of the track results in a score of zero.

Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis and are only secured on receipt of your postal payment and booking form or online booking.

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Payment is required at time of booking. We regret we cannot issue refunds unless a doctor’s or vet’s certificate/letter is provided. If you are unable to attend your booked instruction, you are free to find a replacement (as long as it’s a WSRC member and at an appropriate level for the instruction!) and organise reimbursement between yourselves. We recommend using the WSRC Facebook page for this.

All riders must wear hats to the current standard as per the current BRC rule book. Body protectors are strongly recommended for jumping instruction. Please inform the instructor or West Surrey RC if you have any pre-existing medical conditions. All riders are advised to have their own insurance.
