Show Information

The first class will start at 10.00am with times available from the morning the day before the competition date.

Classes will be mixed with juniors and seniors, horses and ponies.

First classes are 40cm and 50cm unaffiliated clear round showjumping with rosettes for all clear rounds followed by unaffiliated showjumping with Trailblazer Qualifiers at 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm.

Separate placings and rosettes for seniors and juniors (aged 12 and under on ponies).

Rosettes for 1st to 8th in Trailblazer's Qualifier Classes and first 8 places per section in each Trailblazer class will qualify for 2025 Championships.

Additional entries can be taken by the steward on the day and will attract a late entry fee of £1.50 in addition to the advertised fee. 

Swallowfield Equestrian Centre runs Trailblazer dressage and show jumping competitions. You can qualify for Trailblazers Combined Training at separate dressage and showjumping competitions. For more details on Combined Training qualification please use the following link

Bookings in advance. To enter:

A: You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Swallowfield Equestrian.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
 

Cost per rider - bookable and payable online (non-refundable)

  • clear round class is £10.00 per entry plus booking fee 
  • unaffiliated show jumping and Trailblazer qualifier classes is £13.00 per entry plus booking fee

Prize Information

 Prize money will be awarded if there are 10 starters or more in your section - 1st prize £10

 Sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks available so please bring some change for the honesty box.

In addition to our standard terms and conditions the following applies to our show jumping events

  • All horses and ponies must be at least 4 years old.
  • All Riders to be at least 4 years old.
  • Under 18s must be accompanied and supervised by a parent / guardian.
  • Hats must be worn whenever mounted and should be to the current correct standard for your activity.
  • It is strongly recommended that body protectors are worn for all show jumping activities and are fitted and worn in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Correct riding footwear must be worn – trainers and wellingtons are NOT acceptable footwear..
  • Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times and are only allowed in the car park. Dogs are not allowed near, or in the arenas, or on or near any part of the livery yard. Please pick up & remove your dog’s poo.
  • All attendees and riders must make every effort to avoid and prevent accidents occurring. Any accidents must be reported immediately to the event steward.
  • All attendees and riders must obey the instructions and directions of the organiser and steward.
  • All entries are at rider's own risk. Swallowfield Equestrian Centre cannot be held responsible for any accident, damage, theft, injury or illness to horses, ponies, riders, owners, grooms, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
