Entries will close 48 hours proceeding the competition. Late entries will be taken at a £3 charge per class. If classes are full a waiting list will be kept.
WE WILL ONLY SPLIT SECTIONS IF THERE ARE 10 OR MORE STARTERS PER CLASS
Bridle numbers OR saddle pad numbers must be worn. ONE ON EACH SIDE
Horses may only enter once in each class competitively.
Any objections or complaints MUST be done so through a legitimate complaints procedure. You must place a £10.00 deposit alongside your written complaint. This complaint will then be assessed by the executive committee. If your complaint is found to be legitimate, you will be refunded your £10.00.

You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
You MUST check your email for conformation that your payment was successful.

PRIZES:
Rosettes to 6th place
1st place – prize money of £13.00
2nd place – prize money of £5.00
Prize money forms MUST be completed in order for prize money to be paid.
There MUST be 10 or more starters within your height category to be eligible for prize money.
The series will run on a points system for each class to 10th place. Please see below for a breakdown of the points system. You will need acquire 5 points or more to be eligible for the championship show.
1st = 10 points
2nd = 9 points
3rd = 8 points
4th = 7 points
5th = 6 points
6th = 5 points
7th = 4 points
8th = 3 points
9th = 2 points
10th = 1 point
To qualify for the championship class, you need to of obtained 5 points or more!

TRAILBLAZERS SHOW JUMPING
• Remains a direct qualifier.
• Class heights are be 60m, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1m to match with the heights run by majority of venues for their unaffiliated classes
• Top 8 in class qualify regardless of faults incurred or whether in jump off (see SJ Rules 18.2).
• Riders continue to be responsible for purchasing and returning their qualification cards.
• Championship congratulations letter attached.
Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.
Withdrawals: - In the unfortunate event of withdrawal, please advise the secretary by 9am on the Thursday prior to the competition.
We regret no refunds will be made once times are issued.
HATS must be worn whenever mounted and should be to the correct current standard.
ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature) may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with safety standards for hats.
BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and cross-country events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events.
CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn.
ALL horses and ponies must be four years old and over. ALL Riders to be 4-years old and over.
ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final.
INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover.
HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event.
Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers.
Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be always kept on a lead.
